I love to cook, there I said it out loud. To take ingredients and mix them into wonderful treats, and creations gives me much joy. To have the house filled with wonderful smells and kids enjoying them and telling there friends" they just got try it" makes me feel great. And I do love to eat. I hope it is a tradition that one of them will pick up, the love of cooking. Scents have an uncanny ability to trigger memories because they are the only sense that directly connects to the part of the brain that stores emotional memories. So when my time has come to leave this world , anyone preparing a recipe that has been passed down, will be passing part of me along or keeping me apart of them.

So I have been busy today making mini cream puffs, or bigne ( choux pastry) filled with a strawberry cream and topped with a beautiful chocolate ganache. I hope you enjoy the photos.
