There is nothing that wastes the body like worry, and one who has any faith in God should be ashamed to worry about anything whatsoever - Mahatma Gand

So how goes the Christmas stuff???
Our tree is up and I thought I would let you get up close and personal with our tree. Every year it falls down a few times through the whole process of decorating. This year it was one of the better ones. It only fell down once, and that was with only the lights on. NO broken ornaments this year. HORRAY..... Our tree if filled with decorations made by the kids and me, throughout the years, some our ornaments that I remember putting on the tree as a wee one. Some are from all the places we have visited, and some bring back memories of past Christmases not to be forgotten.
No worries here, our Christmas will be the " best ever " I am sure.

Please enjoy our tree, up close and personal.

Musical paper stars.

wooden ornaments hand painted.

cork horses, whats a tree without horses???

Light blub santa's ( made by Charlie , grade 5 I believe, Charlie is soon to be 22) we have many of these guys I had to a make a few of these I loved them so much.

Jacksons wooden ornament from Kindergarten . He has lost an eye somewhere along the way. but he is still perfect in every way.
( Jackson is now 13)

.
The pinecone ornaments the twins made in jk.
(they are now 20 years old)

We also have beautiful beeswax handmade
ornaments. I love anything to do with bees. The honey they make, the wax they produce, even the buzzing sound, and where would all the beauty be without their tremendous amount of work they do, pollinating everything that nature has to offer.

This last one comes from my childhood. The Christmas tree always needed birds, partridge, cardinals, it did not matter. My grandmother and aunt passed that down to me. So when I left home I took a red cardinal with me and every year it sat upon the tree. One year after coming home from Christmas shopping, we had left our new puppy dog "home alone" , not to notice much, I went to water the tree, and low and behold what did i find, but what looked like a dead animal thing behind the tree. Any one who knows me would know, that a scream and a jump was in order. Miss Daffy had apparently got a hold of the bird from the tree and skinned it, and left it for dead........ We lost Miss Daffy the next fall, we had only had her for 11 months. She was a mini schnauzer as well, who was a special part of our family, and her loss was devastating. So every year, this bird sits up front on our tree to remind us of many things.

I hope you enjoyed a glimpse of our tree, because you know,
It is the best tree so far.......

Live, laugh, love and remember,

it makes you feel good.
Love to you all,

Christmas tree looks really good, it was like going down memory lane with the story of the decorations.... Remember the ones we used to make with egg carton shells and old jewelry??? Sounds like it was an enjoyable night, getting into Christmas spirit doing the tree. I do hope it is the "Best Christmas" ever!!

Thanks for the mini tour...we havent had a tree up in two years because our puppy has strong desires to eat everything in sight but I still string some sort of greenery all over our walls. I string it so that I can put the kids ornaments up. I so hope they last for years to come so that I can look back and remember the Christmas' past and maybe MAYBE pass on the ornaments to their wives some day.
