Our writing from a couple of days ago remains in the sand for all to see.
Even our game of X's and O's is there.
The ducks are checking out the pumkin someone left at the beach.
There is something magical about waking up to that first snowfall. At least I find them a bit that way. The kids on the street were out playing before school, all bundled up , squeals of delight. And yes it was sticky enough for snowballs. Always a big hit with the older kids. My walk with the dogs today, was filled with the same excitement. The dogs love the snow, nose buried as deep as they could go, and rolling around like nobodies business. Running along the beach with snow and sand always makes for great exercise, and tires them out for the whole afternoon. The crisp clean air clears the head of cobwebs and puts a skip in my step. As I watch the ducks and seagulls stand and float around it the water, it makes me want to get back home to the couch and a duvet and snuggle in for a nap. So until tomorrow
Enjoy the day,
Be well,
Kathy
